Pencak Silat Association Khorda (psak) is the only district Association for Pencak Silat Sports in Khorda duly affiliated to Pencak Silat Association Odisha(PSAO) Pencak Silat Association Odisha is the affiliated to Indian Pencak Silat Federation (IPSF). Indian Pencak Silat Federation ( IPSF) is the only National Federation for Pencak Silat Sports in India duly affiliated with International Pencak Silat Federation (PERSILAT) Asian Pencak Silat Federation (APSIF), and South Asian Pencak Silat Federation (SAPSF). Indian Pencak Silat Federation ( IPSF) is duly recognized by Govt. of India (Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports), Indian Olympic Association . Indian Pencak Silat Federation ( IPSF) has 32 State/ UT’s Members all over India

1. Indian Pencak Silat Federation ( IPSF) is the only National Federation for Pencak Silat Sports in India duly affiliated with International Pencak Silat Federation (PERSILAT)


2. Asian Pencak Silat Federation (APSIF), and South Asian Pencak Silat Federation (SAPSF).


3. Indian Pencak Silat Federation ( IPSF) is duly recognized by Govt. of India (Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports) . Indian Pencak Silat Federation ( IPSF) has 32 State/ UT’s Members all over India. Indian Pencak Silat Federation ( IPSF) was incorporated as the non profitable organization registered under (Societies of Registration under act 1960) and with the aim and objectives of only to promote the tremendous art of Pencak Silat Sports in all over India at School, Collages, University and Corporate level not only as a Martial Art of Self Defense but also as a Sport.


4. Pencak Silat Sports is now a medal event in Asian Games, SEA Games & Asian Beach Games, World Games, Youth Asian Games, Asian Indoor & Martial Art Games and is duly recognized by Olympic Council of Asia & TAFISA.


5. Indian Pencak Silat Federation ( IPSF) have more than 450 approved Clubs & 32 Associations of different events like Tanding, Tunggal, Ganda & Regu etc. Indian Pencak Silat Federation ( IPSF) has a strength of 20 Asian Level and 250 IPSF qualified Referees/Judges and 02 International accredited/Certified Coaches Under the Presidentship of Sheik Alau’ddin Yacoob Marican & Mohammad Iqbal .


6. Indian Pencak Silat Federation ( IPSF) is fully involved in developing and popularizing of Pencak Silat Sport in India and have produced numbers of International level medalist.


7. The Membership for the Players is Open for all technically & deserving organizations who will agree to abide by the rules and regulations of PERSILAT unconditionally.

APPROACH & STRATEGY

The development of sports and promotion of excellence, including performance at the international level, is a highly complex and multi-dimensional subject. The strategies include: International collaboration for sports development and sporting excellence Evolving a structured system for spotting and increasing the talent pool in all Olympic disciplines and selected indigenous and other sports Focused attention on areas and regions having potential of excellence in the specific sports disciplines Establishing infrastructure and an integrated framework for training and grooming talent at different age and proficiency levels, involving SAI, State Governments and National Sports Federations (NSFs) Encouraging active involvement of the corporate sector in developing academies and Centres of Excellence for different disciplines Improvement of coaching development and supervision Strengthening scientific and technical support for sportspersons Ensuring the availability of quality sports goods and the development of indigenous sports goods industry
